I thought I would record a training video on using Jing. This is a software program that you can use to capture images from your screen and upload them to your hard-drive, or upload them to Screen cast. You can also record screen cast video using the Jing software.

This is an excellent FREE resource you can use for your online Network Marketing business. I also use it to send pictures to my friends and family!

In March of 2009 I was experiencing symptoms of feeling light headed, dizzy, shortness of breath, and fatigue. I was at work when I suddenly collapsed. I was rushed by ambulance to the closest hospital. I was admitted into the hospital overnight for observation. They ran several tests on me to determine what the cause of this episode was.

I was diagnosed with Bradycardia. This is a slow heart rate. Most people have a resting heart of around 60 to 100 beats per minute. Mine was at about 40 to 50. It would also drop to about 35 beats per minute for no apparent reason. This was concerning to the doctors. I was released from the hospital the next day.
Over the next several months I went through several different tests to find out the reason that I was experiencing such a low heart rate. They could not find a definitive answer to this problem.

In November my Doctor told me that I needed a Pacemaker. This was very hard for me to take. I was saying to him, but I am only 43 years old. Why is this happening? He explained to me that this is a common problem . The Doctor told me that he performs about 15 to 20 of these procedures per week. He assured me that I would feel much better by having this procedure done.

I went home and began to think of the reasons why this was happening to me. I started to look online for information and videos about this kind of Pacemaker Implantation procedure. I looked on YouTube for videos about this procedure, but really did not find to much. I saw that there was a lot of people that were searching online for the Pacemaker procedure. I really started thinking maybe I should share my story with others. This was a very hard decision for me to make. I am a very private person when it comes to medical or personal issues concerning my family. I thought about this for days.

I ultimately decided that I should share my story with other people. This is the reason for this blog post. I am hoping that someone that is experiencing these symptoms, or is going to have this procedure done, you will be a little more educated by someone that has already been though it. That is my goal by telling you my story!

On November 30th 2009 I had a Pacemaker implanted on the left side of my chest. The procedure lasted for about 45 minutes. I was admitted to the hospital overnight, so they could monitor my vital signs. The main reason they do this is to ensure the device is working properly. I had no complications and everything was functioning properly.

I was sent home the next day. I was not even given a prescription for pain medication. I was just told to take Extra strength Tylenol  for the pain. I was given a prescription for antibiotics for any infections I might develop because of the surgery. I was definitely sore on the left side of my chest, but the pain was mild. I rested at home for 2 days, and then went back to work.

This can be a very stressful situation when you don’t know what to expect from this type of procedure. I am here to tell you that it was not as bad as I thought it was going to be. It has been 8 days since I had the Pacemaker implanted. I feel absolutely AMAZING! I am not feeling light headed or faint anymore. I feel like a completely different person.

There has been a lot of confusion and rumors about the new Federal Trade Commission (FTC) guidelines that go into effect on December 1st 2009. It is your responsibility to ensure that you and your online business is FTC compliant. I am including a couple of resources in this post to help you accomplish this.

The first thing that you should do is download the new FTC guidelines below to become more familiar with each of the different sections. These new guidelines will effect all Bloggers, Advertisers, Advertisements, and Affiliates.  The other area that the new Guidelines cover is also the Testimonials that you place on your blog or website.

Caroline McCarthy of Cnet gives this example of how the FTC guidelines apply to a blogger (or, in this example, a celebrity) on Face-book:

“[A] celebrity or other prominent figure with loads of friends on Face-book receives free hotel stays from Hotel Chain X in exchange for running Hotel Chain X ads on his or her blog. If that person then signs up as a Face-book fan of Hotel Chain X–which, remember, could mean that the person’s name can show up for his or her Face-book friends alongside Hotel Chain X display ads on the social network–he or she could be held liable by the FTC.”

The second step is to listen to a recorded call with well know Internet Marketer Jim Edwards and Mr. Cleveland with the FTC. The call is about 10 minutes long, and has some great information directly from the source (FTC). Listen to the call so that you are informed about the upcoming changes.

Q &A with FTC Re: Bloggers, Affiliates, Advertisers & More

Here is a quote from the FTC website:

“The revised Guides also add new examples to illustrate the long standing principle that “material connections” (sometimes payments or free products) between advertisers and   endorsers – connections that consumers would not expect – must be disclosed. These examples address what constitutes an endorsement when the message is conveyed by bloggers or other “word-of-mouth” marketers. The revised Guides specify that while decisions will be reached on a case-by-case basis, the post of a blogger who receives cash or in-kind payment to review a product is considered an endorsement. Thus, bloggers who make an endorsement must disclose the material connections they share with the seller of the product or service”.

These new guidelines  will help with the growing problem of misleading practices, false claims, fraud, and fake testimonials. These will really help the consumer make a more informed decision if they want to purchase that persons products or services.

One of the biggest challenges you face as a website owner is driving traffic to your website. There are many different methods that you can use to get Traffic to your site. One of the methods to accomplish this is Traffic Exchanges. Most of these sites are Free to join, with an offer to upgrade your account. Once you JOIN the site, you will need to put in your web address you want to drive traffic to. The next step you will need to do is to start earning  credits. You do this by using either the manual  or auto surf feature for that Traffic Exchange site. Not all of the exchange sites offer the auto surf feature. Each member that clicks to your website will be required to stay on the site for about 20 seconds to earn the surf credit.

Once you have built up enough credits, your website will be listed as a new link that other members will be allowed to click. The numbers of visitors you receive to your website depends on the amount of credits that you have earned. The more credits you have= The more visitors you will get to your website.

Now you might be asking yourself is all of this really worthwhile or a waste of time? Well I tried this method purely as a test. What I found was that my Traffic to my website increased 700% within a 48 hour period. So the answer to this question it is definitely Worthwhile.

Just remember that these visitors to your website will only be there for a very short amount of time! So make sure that you have a really eye popping capture page with a great opt-in offer! This will definitely increase your chances of them opting in for more information!

Article Marketing can be a very cost effective marketing  strategy if used properly. Most Network marketers will agree that Article Marketing is the best way to drive traffic to your website.

Most newbies in the Network marketing industry always ask how to drive  traffic to their website or Blog. I always tell them the same answer, Article Marketing.

One of the most important elements of your Article is keyword density. You want to have enough relevant keywords in your article, so the search engines will rank the article high in the search results. Do not use to many keywords in your article that it is un-readable.

Once you have your article written, read it aloud and see how it sounds. You want it to provide solutions to your prospects problems. If they feel like you are truly trying to help them with your article, they will want to learn more about you.

The key to using this Article Marketing method is to write about 10 articles a day, and submit them to multiple article directories. This will give you multiple back links to your website or blog.

Lastly make sure that you are using the resource box at the bottom of your article for your links to your Blog or Website. Do not always put the same link in the resource box. If you are sending them to your Blog, include a  link to another relevant article that is on your blog. This is how to properly utilize the resource box.

I found this great video on how to get the best keywords from Google for free. Geoff shows his 3 ways to conduct

keyword searches directly from the first page of Google search results. His method for using the

Wonder wheel in the keyword search is awesome. This just goes to show you that you can find your

relevant keywords for your content without using some fancy expensive research software. Geoff explains that

Google is showing you exactly what keywords were used for that specific content that was ranked on the first page.

This is a great video for using free methods to get your content ranked on high with Google.

The Network Marketing business can seem very overwhelming to someone who is just getting started. There are many things that you must learn in order to make any significant amount of money online. The First Screenshot is from my article 5 Deadly Mistakes To Avoid In Social Media Marketing. This article was posted on my blog. The Screenshot shows the results of a Google search that was performed by one of my blog visitors. They conducted a Google search for the Keywords Mistakes to avoid in Social Media Marketing. They found my article on the first page of Google in position #4 out of 2,950,000 results. The first page of Google has 10 positions in the organic search results. The other positions at the top of the first page of Google are sponsored ads that are commonly called PPC (Pay Per Click) ads.

The Second Screenshot is from a video I did on How To Change Your Friend Box On Face-book. This person also found my blog by doing a Google search for keyword How to change box on Face-book.

The Third Screenshot is the Google search results for the keyword How to change box on Face-book. My video ranked on the first page of Google in position #2 out of 711,000,00 results.

The Fourth Screenshot is  from 10/30/09   a Google search on Self-Confidence. It shows that my Article 6 Ways To Help Build Your Self-Confidence is ranked on the first page of Google in position # 8 for my blog post, and position #10 from my article submission to Ezine Articles.

When you effectively market your content, these are the kinds of results that you can achieve. I am currently using free methods to market my content on Social Media 2.0, Face-book, Twitter, Better Net worker, and Youtube. I have also been using the Ezine Articles site to submit articles. This a great method to utilize, and it ranks high in the Search Engines.

When I first started Marketing online I was looking for all the free information I could find to help me learn about this industry. I did not have a lot of money to spend. I found some great information, and some  Crap that was pretty much worthless. It is kind of  like trying to put together a puzzle without all the pieces there.
